Moses comes down off the mountain with the two tablets of the covenant or the Ten Commandments as we know them. He has been in the presence of God and as such, his face shines. God changes us when we realize that we have been in his presence. Like Peter, sometimes we feel inept and ask God to get away from our sinful selves. Sometimes we know we are blessed, and our faces radiate his love, his joy, his peace. We see God in the ordinary, in the love of a child or a stranger helping another. It may be in the magnificent; a storm, or a person healed of a disease or deformity. God changes us as we see him. Where have you seen God lately?
